Local man runs Bathinda half marathon barefoot

Jammu, March 25

City resident Gaurav Gupta on Sunday ran 21 kilometres barefoot in a half marathon at Bathinda in Punjab.

For his feat, Gupta was the guest of honour on the occasion and was declared the ambassador for the half marathon.

After the event, Gupta said: “It was possible because of the love and support from the people of Jammu and Kashmir. I am thankful to Rajesh Padha (my mentor), members of the Chamberof Commerce and Industries, Jammu, Gold’s Gym management and my family and friends for always encouraging me to takechallenges.” — TNS
