The state government today appointed Sundeep Kumar Nayak, a 1988-batch IAS officer, as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jhelum and Tawi Flood Recovery Project.

An order in this regard was issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) today. Nayak was awaiting orders of posting in the GAD.

He has served on important positions in the state administration, including as Financial Commissioner, Agriculture Production Department and Principal Secretary in Power Development Department and Relief and Rehabilitation Department.
