NCC cadets honoured

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) units of GGM Science College today organised a get together to showcase the achievements of the cadets of the college for the session 2017-18.

Col Shalinder Parihar, Director, NCC, J&K Directorate, was the chief guest.

Other items such as bhangra, local folk dances and patriotic songs were also a part of the different items presented by the boy and girl cadets of the college.

The chief guest, who was also an alumnus of GGM Science College, exhorted the students to feel the change NCC brought in them. He congratulated the cadets to be fortunate enough to be a part of the NCC unit of GGM Science College.

A PowerPoint presentation was given by cadet Mukal Manhas to highlight the achievements of the NCC units of the college at various levels in 2017-18.

Later, prizes were distributed among the cadets who excelled at various levels during the year. Senior Under Officer Vishal Choudhary was selected as the best cadet among boys for his academic and NCC excellence.
