Jammu: The Army conducted an afforestation drive at the Nagrota military station to increase green cover in the area and spread awareness among people about the importance of saving the environment. The plantation drive was also aimed at sensitising the participants about their social and environmental responsibility to make the earth green and clean. A large number saplings were planted during the event. People were also educated on the importance of planting trees. TNS
