A delegation of J&K Hoteliers Club (JKHC) led by its chairman Mushtaq Ahmad Chaya met Principal Secretary Shailendra Kumar at the civil secretariat here on Tuesday.
A JKHC statement said after discussions on the problems being confronted by the hoteliers, the Principal Secretary advised the members that the existing and upcominghotels, guest housesneeded to get registered with the Industries Department for getting industrial benefits.
The registration can be done online at the website — www.udyogjk.com. It said for new properties and expansion of the existing ones, a subsidy of 30 per cent was available with the department fixing the cap at a maximum of Rs 5 crore. — TNS
