Remove encroachments at Lal Chowk: Div Comm

Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan on Wednesday held a meeting to start a massive drive aimed at decongesting traffic at Lal Chowk. It was attended by IG, Traffic, Basant Rath and other officials.
Khan said various steps had been taken for streamlining traffic at Lal Chowk and these had already started showing results. He said such innovative measures needed to be sustained.
He directed officials to start a massive drive against all kinds of encroachments in the Lal Chowk area which were acting as impediments to the smooth flow of traffic. —TNS
