A two-day seminar, ‘Fan-te-Shaksiyat’, concluded at the University of Kashmir today.
Vice Chancellor of the University of Kashmir Khurshid Iqbal Andrabi presided over the seminar, organised by the Department of Kashmiri, to explore the life and works of Akhtar Mohiuddin, a late Kashmiri writer.
“There is a need to promote the Kashmiri language and literature, especially among the youth. I promise the university’s full support to the endeavour,” the VC said.
The head of the Kashmiri Department, Majrooh Rashid, highlighted the aims and objectives of the seminar, in which a number of Mohiuddin’s writings were read.
