In another order, the appointment of Dr Zareena Hassan as assistant professor (lecturer) in the discipline of maternity and child welfare in the GMC, Rajouri, has also been cancelled.

The matter was brought to the notice of the higher authorities for the smooth functioning of the newly established GMC at Rajouri, said Kuldeep Singh, Principal of the college.

According to the order, Dr Zareena, who was appointed on a government order dated April 25, at the GMC Rajouri failed to join her duty within the stipulated time of 21 days.
