Rajouri, June 8
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Yougal Manhas has constituted a special investigation team (SIT) after a ‘sensitive’ video of a doctor and woman patient went viral on the social media. The video was allegedly uploaded by some District Hospital employees, including four doctors.
The woman lodged a complainant with the police against those who recorded the video and made it viral. Sources said the video was recorded to blackmail the doctor who is presently posted at District Hospital.
The SSP said on the complaint of the woman, a case had been registered under relevant sections of law at the Rajouri police station and an SIT headed by Deputy SP (Ops) Pranav Mahajan had been constituted for speedy investigation. “The involvement of an insider in filming the video can’t be ruled out. Initial investigation revealed that District Hospital employees, including four doctors, made the video viral on the social media,” said the SSP.
He said the people involved in making the video and uploading it on the social media would be dealt with strictly.
