Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mohammed Yasin Kichloo presently posted as staff officer to the ADGP Armed Police, J&K, has been honoured with the FICCI Smart Policing Award-2017 for his initiative in cybercrime and cyber security.
He was awarded under the cybercrime category out of 133 elite officers from various state police and Central armed forces from across the country.
The award was presented to him in New Delhi today during the annual conference on homeland security organised by the Federation of India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). MP Meenakshi Lekhi joined by former home secretary GK Pillia presented the award to Kichloo.
The award is valued and appreciated by both the government and the industry in India as well as overseas. The initiative of Kichloo has been published in the FICCI compendium.
J&K DGP SP Vaid, ADGP Armed L Mohanti and other police officers have congratulated Kichloo for this honour. He also has the distinction of authoring a book on cybercrime. He was the first to introduce the concept of cybercrime in the J&K Police.
