Ever busy Kunjwani Chowk, which is the entry point for all inter-district and inter-state buses to Jammu, is not only congested but traffic lights installed are mostly non- functional. Traffic signals are supposed to streamline the vehicular movement in the area, but it has created a mess. The traffic police should take corrective measures to fix the problems.

Overloading of mini buses in rural areas
Although the new Motor Vehicle Act has been implemented in Jammu but it seems rural areas have been kept out of it. Overloading is still a regular feature there. It is a collective failure on the part of people and the government. The government has failed to run the buses on different routes, which has led to the burdening of private transporters who are trying to earn maximum profit.
