The Khyber Himalayan Resort and Spa, Gulmarg, has felicitated travel partners in the Valley with The Khyber Travel Agents’ Excellence awards.
During a function held at the resort yesterday evening, The Khyber Peerless Award was given to Mascot Travels that was received by Yaseen Tuman. Voters Choice Award was conferred to Greengold Holidays, Best Inbound Travel Agent Award went to Distant Holidays and Leapon Adventures received Leading in Group Business award.
Top 10 travel agents were Mascot Travels, Honey Gold Tour and Travels, Mazda Travels, Shangloo Travels, Vacation Gateway, Ahsaan Travels, Peakmark Adventures, Dastan Tours, Earth Explorers and Shah Travels. Promising Travel Agent was given to Green Gold Holidays and Elizabeth Tour and Travels and Destination Paradise.
Umar Tramboo, MD, Pinnacle Resorts Pvt Ltd, and promoter of The Khyber Himalayan Resort and Spa, Gulmarg, said, “ The Khyber Travel Agents’ Excellence awards are an acknowledgement of the support and effort by our partners in the travel industry to promote Gulmarg and The Khyber.”
Tourism Secretary Sarmad Hafeez appreciated the role of travel agents in bringing tourists to the state and assured them that the department would make every effort to promote J&K as the top tourist destination.
