Law graduates wanting to pursue PG degree in Germany can apply for Jawaharlal Nehru Award for International Understanding-Dr. Angela Merkel Scholarship to do a master’s degree (LL.M.) in European Law at one of the selected German Universities

Eligibility: Highly qualified graduates with a first university degree in law (Bachelor’s or equivalent) can apply for this scholarship

LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship

Applications are invited for LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship

from students from economically weaker sections for pursuining higher studies. The scholarship is awarded for studies in India in a government or private college/university. Besides medicine, engineering, graduation in any discipline, diploma course in any field, the scholarship will also cover technical and vocational courses in Industrial Training Institutes/ Industrial Training Centres affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) of classes at Graduation level.

Eligibility: Students should have passed Class XII exam or its equivalent in 2015-16 with at least 60 per cent marks or equivalent grade and annual income of their parents/guardian from all sources should not exceed Rs 1 lakh per annum.

Duration: Scholarship shall be provided for the entire duration of the course subject to the candidate fulfilling the requisite eligibility conditions for renewal.

Details: An amount of Rs 10,000 per annum will be awarded to the selected candidate which is payable in 10 monthly installments of Rs 1,000 each.
