Certificate in Entrepreneurship Management

Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Jamshedpur, announces admission to the Post Graduate Programme for Certificate in Entrepreneurship Management for 2017-18.

This full-time six-month residential programme has been designed by the Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) of XLRI to provide competency-based education to the candidates with a view to promoting entrepreneurship having equipped them with the essential conceptual and operational skills required for running an entrepreneurial venture successfully. The programme includes a Project Formulation component under the mentorship of an expert member of the faculty to help the students to draw up a blueprint of action prior to the actual embarking on a business venture.

Eligibility: The applicant to this programme has to be a graduate from a recognised university with an inclination for entrepreneurship.

Fee: The course fee amounts to Rs 90,000 plus 15% Service tax, payable in two equal installments + Rs 20,000 for books, etc. and Rs 10,000  as Caution Money.

MEng Aerospace Electronic Engineering

UK’s University of Southampton invites applications for its newly launched MEng Aerospace Electronic Engineering programme. Accredited by The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), the programme is an expansion of their BEng Aerospace Electronic Engineering programme. It will not only provide rigorous guidance on electronic engineering, but also educate its learners on the fundamentals of aerospace engineering. 

Course duration: 4 years as an integrated master’s

Eligibility: For Indian students taking state boards, the entry requirements for the BEng are 85 per cent overall in Class XII(AISSE/HSC/ISE/CBSE) including 85 per cent in maths and physics and for the MEng 85 per cent overall in Class XII(AISSE/HSC/ISE/CBSE) including 90 and 85 per cent in maths and physics. The English language requirements include an overall 6.5 IELTS score with 5.5 in each competency or ISC or CBSE English with 70 per cent. Students over 21 years of age are also eligible for this course.
