The UK-based University of Southampton is inviting students to get involved in the AI revolution and learn the crucial concepts & strategies associated with it. The university has opened applications for September 2018 intake of its MSc in Artificial Intelligence degree. 

The course: The research-led programme offers the fundamental aspects of traditional symbolic and sub-symbolic concepts in Artificial Intelligence. This one-year degree offers wide-ranging options, including intelligence agents, complexity science, computer vision, robotics and machine learning techniques and helps develop a broad skill set suitable for further study or application development. 

This programme provides an exceptional platform for building careers in Academia, Bioinformatics, Chemo informatics, financial services and Web applications. 

Duration: 1 year

Eligibility: Upper second-class honours degree or higher (or equivalent) in a related discipline, such as mathematics, physics, engineering or computer science. English language requirements include IELTS 6.5 overall with at least 6.0 in each competency. 

Course commencement: September 2018

Course fee: £23,736

Scholarships: Students applying for this programme are eligible for the Chevening Scholarship and the Commonwealth Scholarships. These scholarships will be in the form of a tuition fee reduction.
