The DC has also recommended his transfer from Karnal with immediate effect so that the ongoing inquiry in the land consolidation dispute was not affected.

“Based on the inquiry report of the District Revenue Officer (DRO), it has been recommended to the Director, Land Record, Chandigarh, to initiate departmental inquiry against Assistant Consolidation Officer (ACO) Dalbir Singh. I have also recommended his transfer from Karnal with immediate effect to ensure transparency in the ongoing exercise,” said the DC Singh. — TNS
