Born in a small-town, Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan, this daughter of an Army officer, went on to be among the top five finalists in Gladrags Model Hunt. Here are snippets of a candid conversation with the model-cum-actress.

Chandigarh connect

Ask her if she has ever paid a visit to Chandigarh and pat comes the reply, “I have lived in Chandigarh for nearly two years during my college days and have fond memories of the place. In fact, I had applied for further education in City Beautiful when I was offered my first modeling assignment here.”

Punjabi at heart

The actor, who calls herself half-Rajasthani and half-Punjabi, confesses, “I have always loved everything associated with Punjabi culture. My dream project, it has to be getting a break in Punjabi movies.”

Debut jitters

Kya Kool Hain Hum 3, the debut project of the former Bigg Boss contestant sees the model sharing screen space with Tushar and Aftab. Unlike the usual debutants, the actress claims to be experiencing no quintessential debut jitters. “I am relaxed and confident as far as the release of my debut movie is concerned.”

Model by accident

The petite lady admits to being a model by chance. “I have always wanted to be an actor. Even during my childhood days, I participated in theatre. Acting has always attracted me because it involves creativity. Modelling just happened,” she shares.

Bigg take

The wild-card entrant in Bigg Boss Season 9 says being a part of the show was “a nice experience.”
