After crossing half a billion dollars on the Divide tour, he heads back home to sing and shoot for the song with his London pals. Nevertheless, the remix version of the song is not just about their journey from the struggling days to making it to Grammys but an expression of their love for home. The song brings out various images that every Londoner.

We already know Ed’s rapping skills from his songs like Sing and here he is singing with his homies to the grime beat, which is an icing on the cake considering the British’s affinity for electronic dance music which draws influences from raga and hip hop. The video of Take Me Back To London that was released on August 23 garnered 4.8 million views within three days.
