After Inshallah with Salman Khan got shelved, Alia Bhatt has now begun prepping for Karan Johar’s magnum opus Takht. The actress, who will share screen space with a stellar star cast including Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor, paid a visit to Karan Johar on Saturday to discuss the film. She took to Instagram to share a boomerang from Dharma Production’s office wherein she is seen holding a red mug with Takht written on it. In the background, Karan can be seen indulged in a conversation with Ranveer Singh, whom she carefully hides behind her mug.
It was in August last year that Karan had announced his most ambitious project ever - Takht. Ever since its grand announcement last year, all eyes are on this magnum opus. However, it was only recently that Karan Johar began working on the film. Buzz has it that the film is expected to go on floors in February 2020.
