An eventful affair

Be a guest at your own party is what Naina Kukreja offers... A NIFT graduate coupled with an MBA degree, this entrepreneur launched her event management company Mystique Eve on Friday in Chandigarh.

“To satisfy my creative bent of mind, I always wanted to do something different. With a background in handling corporates, event planning seemed like the best bet,” says Naina. The company that offers services from a small birthday party to grand weddings promises to deliver the best with an assurance of value for money.

With customising being the key, Naina bids three themes – vintage, Arabic and Punjabi – for the showcase. “Being a wedding planner, it’s my job to take the pressure off the host. Another significant part of it is to turn dreams into reality.”

What’s more, she takes sole responsibility for the entire event. “It’s not like the makeup artiste will leave the moment bride is ready, instead he or she will stay over for every little need or concern till the doli leaves!”

Being in field for long, she’s got time tested hacks under her sleeve too. Dream a wedding destination and she will create a little Bali or Dubai for you sitting right here in Chandigarh or Ludhiana... “There shouldn’t be any price for dreams...,”she signs off. —TNS
