The scintillating and sensual Pooja Mishra, best known for her noteworthy presence in the Big Boss Season 5, has just launched a special calendar in collaboration with FHM men’s international lifestyle magazine. With her frank views and sometimes non-conformist behaviour, nobody can forget this Big Boss participant. After her sensational and rather picturesque cover picture on FHM India September 2014 issue, she has come up with the idea of compiling a calendar. Out to unveil this collection, Pooja Mishra made Ludhiana her first destination.
Hosted by Moti Mahal restaurant, the event saw former VJ-turned-model and actress stand up for her gender. “Women have to come together if they want to make a difference. I have been betrayed many times by my own sex and the pain is still there, that’s why I feel that if we stand together there is no force that can put us down. Let us celebrate each woman’s existence whether she is 17 or 70, slim or fat, working or non–working,” asserts Pooja, whose her first brush with fame was as a VJ, hosting the chat show ‘Jab we talk’ wherein she was engaged in solving the sensitive problems of callers.
In Ludhiana after a year when she came to promote her movie ‘Hum Baja Bajain Denge’, Pooja finds herself influenced by the Punjabi culture and ethos. So, she is planning her next music video here as well. “The next stop for unveiling the calendar is Rajasthan,” says the svelte Pooja.
