The much-awaited trailer of Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari’s Chhichhore was released on Sunday and was perhaps the best Friendship Day treat. The film is about a group of college friends and their life’s journey. It looks like a fun ride with lots of moments that will crack you up and equally take you back to college by making you highly nostalgic. The movie revolves around Anni (Sushant Singh Rajput), Maya (Shraddha Kapoor), Sexa (Varun Sharma), Derek (Tahir Raj Bhasin), Mummy (Tushar Pandey), Acid (Naveen Polishetty) and Bevda (Saharsh Kumar Shukla). All pet names, they earn courtesy their unique characteristics.
They are seen proudly wearing the tag of being ‘losers’. Women, underwear jokes and to get success in extra-curricular activities are all inclusive. Together they charter a journey that seems to be packed with laughs and drama that is bound to leave a smile on your face. The movie also stars an anti-hero Prateik Babbar as Raggie. Going by the trailer, it seems friends reunite years later when one of them lands up in hospital and they vow to complete unfinished business. The movie has been written by Tiwari, Piyush Gupta and Nikhil Mehrotra. It is scheduled to release on September 6.
