Sharry’s drunk notes

Popular Punjabi singer Sharry Mann’s single track Hostel has struck a chord with the audience. A project by Jassi Lokha, who has also written the lyrics of the track, Hostel is a fun peppy number. In between all the praise for the track, many people are openly criticising Sharry Mann for promoting daru culture in Punjab. His last song 3 Peg is a chartbuster, but all the same it has also come under fire for promoting daru drinking among youngsters just like the song Hostel. Many people have gone on to twitter and Facebook to talk about this. A fan tweeted @iSharryMann I would say he is not a good person always promote so called #Daaru ... why ? Man what is the message in your song. So much so, a leading Punjabi entertainment portal posted news on how many tavern owners want to make Sharry Mann their brand ambassador for promoting alcohol. Sharry or Sherry, who will Sharry support, we wonder.
