Deepika Padukone was reminded that she is married to Ranveer Singh, says ‘Oh god, I forgot’

Actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are often seen holding hands out in public, but being married is still a new feeling for them, it is definitely for Deepika.
During an event for her Live Love Laugh foundation, the fact that Deepika was also a “wife” slipped from her mind.
The 33-year-old actress was recounting all the important roles she has played in her life. She said: “I’m a daughter, I’m a sister, I’m an actor.” She stopped to recollect a few more, which is when the panel moderator reminded her, “and a wife”.
“Oh god! I forgot,” Deepika said as the moderator and the audience laughed at her goof-up.
Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in in Italy’s Lake Como in November last year. Ranveer has been busy with two back-to-back releases in December and February—Simmba and Gully Boy. He is now working on Kabir Singh’s sports drama, ‘‘83’.
Meanwhile, Deepika shot for Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Chhapaak’ with Vikrant Massey in the first half of year.
