An avid reader, writer and actor Sidharath Sodhi has made his place in the entertainment world. He has  acted in films like Sulemani Keeda and The Great Indian Escape. He has also appeared in several television commercials.

Recently, his  silent short film She was released on Youtube, and  has been getting positive reviews. This young fellow needs to keep fit and let’s see how he does it.

Fitness is a choice

Fitness has to be a conscious choice which becomes a part of the daily routine, like eating and sleeping. If you don’t look at exercise as a chore, it helps. Just have fun with it, like we did when we were kids.

Time management

Again, one has to manage time effectively to take out a comfortable slot for fitness. Don’t ever say ‘I don’t have the time for exercise’.

Diet is crucial

That proper diet is important is an understatement. It is the crucial factor for physical fitness. I love all vegetables except mushroom. For me ‘ghar ka khanna’ is the ultimate and I can’t resist sweet lassi and coconut water.

Remain honest

Whatever amount of honesty and innocence you are left with, do not let the world get to it. Your personality transcends into your art.

My icon in fitness

Akshay Kumar, mainly of  because of his discipline. Also, because he shows that you don’t need to be at the mercy of a gym trainer to keep fit.

Fitness for all

It is not a man-woman thing. Exercise, like breathing in oxygen and eating healthy food, is essential for all in every stage of life.

Solitary work out

Working out alone is best. Always. Focus on your work out. Chit-chat happens 24/7.

Food options

I prefer vegetarian food. I still keep the non-veg option open though, because it gets tricky if one is travelling abroad.

Meditation works

Believe in your own strength. I try to be regular with my meditation because it helps me stay connected with myself. It keeps my mind, body and soul in sync.
