An exhibition, Furniture & Home decor Expo 2017, has started at Parade Ground, Sector 17, Chandigarh. The showcase that boasts of 80 stalls and has top exhibitors participating from across India. The expo provides a wide range of furniture and furnishings, exquisite hand-loom products, art and handicraft, designer clocks, artificial flowers, glass Raes Arif, director, I Ads & Events, who has organized the expo says, “We have products in furniture and home decor that will suit all pockets; the range starts from Rs 7 thousand and goes up to 2-3 lakh.” —TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
