Happy Bhag Jayegi, which released in August last year, featured Diana Penty in the lead role along with AbhayDeol, Ali Fazal and Jimmy Shergill.

The makers to this happy-go-lucky movie are back with its sequel which is titled as Happy Bhag Jayegi Returns. Claiming to be a double dose of entertainment, the sequel will have Sonakshi Sinha as the new Happy joining the original character, played by Diana Penty. The movie goes on the floors in Punjab this month. Shares Sonakshi, “I’m thrilled to be on board of this really positive, vibrant and most importantly happy film unit. I loved the first part and I hope this one is bigger and better in every way. Cannot wait to start shooting!”

Adds Diana, “Happy Bhag Jayegi was a special film for me, so being part of HBJ Returns is like going back to my family.”
