Here’s Richa’s first look from Shakeela

The first look of Richa Chadha from her upcoming movie, which is based on South Indian actress Shakeela, is out. In the picture, Richa can be seen flaunting a fresh avatar in a white Kerala sari, Kasavu Pattu.

The actress opened up about her look in a statement and said, "The story traces the journey of Shakeela’s younger days to her becoming a popular figure. With passing time, her look changed and to show that is challenging. But as an actor it is also gratifying that I get to grow with the real character on celluloid."

Directed by Indrajit Lankesh, the film will delve into the life of superstar Shakeela, who ruled the Southern film industry for over two decades. The Fukrey star has begun shooting for the film in a small town of Karnataka, Tirthahalli. — ANI
