We have known their acting prowess and this time around Manav and Meher Vij opened up about their love story. From meeting at a set, becoming friends, falling in love to being happily married, this star couple believes in staying together through thick and thin.
Destiny plays cupid
Meher: We met at a show called Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil - there we decided to do our journey together and somehow the before love story attachment came into picture.
Manav: There is no love story; here is only labb (search) story—main labb ke vya kitta, (lol.) I found her and trapped her into marriage.
Let’s get hitched
Meher and Manav: We decided to get married in the first six months of dating. It was a mutual decision to begin our journey of prosperity and happiness together.
No before and after
Meher: Life before and after marriage is the same for me. Same friendship, same time of chilling together and difference of opinion.
Manav: Life has not changed at all as I fell for her before marriage and till today can’t get up (lol).
Togetherness a boon
Meher: Living together has made me a much more confident and stronger person.
Manav: For me living with Meher is like my demons have gone for a holiday. Her great energy keeps me going through the hardest of times. It’s a boon.
We like to indulge in
Meher: Watching films and gossiping
Manav: Travelling, talking, gossip and more than that irritating each other.
Let’s bring a change
Meher: Could be less persuasive. He has art of convincing to do anything with so much ease.
Manav: I wish she can remember her own things after keeping them; I can only wish.
Free time means
Meher: Films, workout together, travel, read, go for a drive and lot of talking.
Manav: Driving each other nuts.
Perfect companions
Meher: My idea of a perfect couple is the one that stays together and sticks with each other through thick and thin. That’s our couple goal too!
Manav: To live like my parents—in love, by each other’s side.
The wow factor
Meher: His passion and courage
Manav: Her honesty and dedication
Marriage works with
Meher: Sacrifice
Manav: Respect
Space it out
Meher: Balance is the key for everything, as far as you balance giving space and being involved, things are good.
Manav: I love her company so much that the thought of space scares me.
No me, it’s we
Meher: Haven’t gone on solo vacations or tried sleeping separately till date and I don’t think we would want to do that it in future too.
Manav: We are too addicted to do that, so a big nooooo.
