How has your 17-year-long journey been in the industry?

I have been in Mumbai since a long time now. I am a reluctant person who wanted to pursue IAS and was a complete tomboy. Life and destiny definitely wanted me elsewhere. My friends ended up filling the Miss Delhi form on my behalf and I won it as well. I was also a part of a news channel in Delhi. I was just going with the flow as life took me along. Work got me more work and I have never stopped since then.

What does the role of Mini Mami have to offer to its viewers?

My role as Mini Mami is very fascinating for me as I am not at all like her. Mini Mami as a character is very outgoing and she speaks with a different accent, which I have not experimented with before. When this role was offered to me, the very thing that charmed me into taking it up was that I am completely different from Mini Mami and I looked at it as a new challenge.
