Sarkar 3
A political crime-thriller film, Sarkar 3 is directed by Ram Gopal Varma, and co-written by Ram Gopal Varma, and Nilesh Girkar. As a third instalment of the Sarkar series, the film stars Amitabh Bachchan (in the lead role) along with Ronit Roy, Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee, Amit Sadh, and Yami Gautam.
Here’s the storyline of the film: Annu Karkare (Yami Gautam) conspires to avenge the death of her father and holds ‘Sarkar’ (Amitabh Bachchan) responsible for the murder. Juxtaposed with this situation are Sarkar’s personal battles with his volatile grandson Shivaji Nagre or ‘Cheeku’ (Amit Sadh). Parallel to this, political and corporate corners pose a threat to Sarkar’s dominance. Assisted by his aide Gokul Satam (Ronit Roy), Sarkar deals with one of his greatest adversaries Michael Valya (Jackie Shroff) and the eccentric politician Govind Deshpande (Manoj Bajpayee).
If you are a Bachchan fan
I like the film but not that much. You could go and watch the film, only if you are a die-hard fan of Amitabh Bachchan. It doesn’t have a very compelling storyline.

One time watch
I am not a huge fan of Sarkar series and this one has clearly not impressed me. I watched the film because I like Amitabh Bachchan. At best, this film is a one-time watch.

Waste of effort
I did not like the film at all. It has a lousy storyline. I was waiting for it to end. It’s a sheer waste of both, time and money.

Meri Pyaari Bindu
An Indian romantic comedy film, Meri Pyaari Bindu is written by Suprotim Sengupta and is directed by Akshay Roy. It features Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra in lead roles. Here goes the story of the film— despite being a successful writer, Abhimanyu Roy (Ayushmann Khurrana) is fed up with the lack of critical appreciation. He returns to Kolkata to write about an old-fashioned love story for three years.
Entertaining endeavour
I like the film. It’s really interesting and entertaining as well. Also, I think Ayushmann Khurrana looks really nice in the film.

Not so gripping
The film has an interesting concept, but it is not very gripping. I kept phasing in and out of the film, so I can’t really say that I liked it much.
