Trust Drake to move you to his tunes... seems like his In My Feelings has united the world; only that doing it while your car is moving is breaking not only the net, but also some bones!

Kiki (KeKe) challenge or also called #InMyFeelingsChallenge has forced the police in different countries, right from India to Spain, to warn against its danger. And, no, it’s not just the celebs and common folks who are happy taking the challenge, last checked there was a dog, a cow and a camel that were part of the social media sensation!

The genesis

The challenge started about a month back with comedian Shiggy dancing to Canadian rapper Drake’s song on a busy road. There is no moving car in that one, but recent videos do have a moving car!

Who’s taken it?

Amongst celebs, it’s Will Smith who took the challenge atop a bridge in Budapest. No car here, but still pretty dangerous; his Instagram post mentions, “Be smart, don’t attempt doing this under any circumstances.” Closer home, its Nora Fatehi and Varun Sharma’s auto challenge that’s gathering many hits! Going desi seems to be the flavour of Bollywood, as actor Adah Sharam went on Kiki in white apsara/nagin dress. Then there is Karishma Sharma and Nia Sharma, the latter grudgingly posts, ‘PS: car doesn’t move in Mumbai traffic’.

Challenge gone wrong

As much as #kikichallenge is trending, so is #kikichallengefails.  And, there have been accidents. Bumping into poles is common, followed by being blown away by cars or in one case, being thrown into the water by a burly man whom the dancer bumps into.  Okay, the last one seems fabricated as the man is dancing even in water, but there sure have been disturbing accidents!

Police call

While one can see many cops in uniforms shaking their leg to Drake, cops have taken to social media to warn against it. Chandigarh Traffic police is up for challenges and SSP Traffic Shashank Anand has posed in a spoof. “Don’t even dare,” is his message. Mumbai, UP, Jaipur police have warned in their own way. Jaipur police post reads, “In loving memory of KK: loving boyfriend to Kiki, died while doing the Shiggy,” with a picture of a young boy holding a garland.

Punjabi tractor mix

The Punjabi version, obviously, involves tractors and many of it with some clever bhangra moves, but then social media attention or safety first – that’s your call!
