TV actress Dipika Kakar became a household name after playing the role of a docile bahu, Simar, in Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka. After that she entered Bigg Boss 12 house and won the contest. The actress is now all set for her next fiction show, which has the tentative title - PaniPuri.
It will focus on a mature love story where the protagonists are willing to give love a second chance. Interestingly, Dipika Kakar will play a different character unlike her role of the traditional and doting bahu in Sasural Simar Ka. Reports also suggest that actor Karan V Grover will play the male lead opposite Dipika in this new show that will air on Star Plus.
