How would you describe your journey in the industry?

I am very passionate about my work and have been working with a lot of dedication. Like everyone’s journey, mine too has been rife with ups and downs. A few years back, my father passed away and it took me two-three years to come to terms with this loss. I took a break from my profession at that time. I also lost my mother a year back and had to give up three shows because of that, but I have no regrets.

Did you always want to become an actor?

Acting was never my first choice. I come from a small village with an agricultural background. I was also into social work. But when I came to Mumbai, a friend told me that I look good and should give a look test. Then, of course, there was no looking back. I got an audition and the rest followed.

What kind of roles do you prefer?

As an actor, I don’t want to be bound by restrictions. I have not set any such priorities and am looking to experiment in all genres.

Do you want to do reality shows

Yes, I would like to reality shows for the fame that comes with them.

How do you unwind yourself?

I love watching Salman Khan movies; they are my biggest stress-buster. I also meditate; that helps me relax.

What is the philosophy of your life?

Life is like a dream. If you live the dream, you live it fully. If you live in reality and don’t pay attention to the dream, you will collapse.
