Makers of Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain’s debut movie Loveratri have changed the film’s title to Love Yatri. The movie, which is a love story against the backdrop of the Indian festival Navratri, tended to trigger religious outrage. Salman shared the new title along with a new poster of the film on his twitter. He gave a hilarious caption and wrote, “This is not a spelling mistake... #loveyatri# lovetakesover...” Recently, an FIR was filed by Bihar’s Muzzafarpur Court against Salman and the team for hurting Hindu sentiments with the title of Loveratri.
They also suggested that the title demeans the festival of Navratri. Thus, the decision of changing the film’s title was taken. Sources share, “Taking into consideration the concerns from the Censor Board and sensitivity of Karni Sena towards the title of the film, the makers decided to release the film as Love Yatri.”
