Tell us about your struggle in the industry?

Initially, I didn't know much about the city and its people and faced difficulties in getting or searching work, but slowly and gradually I found my path. Talking about struggle, there was nothing like I didn't have a place to stay or food to eat; by God's grace, I had all of that but only one thing that I did not know was that we have to stand in a queue for an audition, I saw it here for the first time, so that was something new for me. 

Your name is quite unique, what does it mean?   

It is not common but meaning of the name is very simple. It is a synonym for rain and also it is one of the old ragas in Indian classical music. Apart from the dictionary meaning, my name also consists of initials of my father and family members, which makes it more sentimental for me.

Tell us about your role in this new show Aghori.     

I am playing the parallel negative lead. My character name is Indra. Indra is jealous of the main lead in the show. As he is an aghori, he is somewhat a person who does whatever he wants to. If someone wants to be an aghori, they have to go through a particular type of training wherein they have to do particular things, which are weird for normal people. 

What are you trying to convey about aghoris via the show?   

As this is a TV show, we will try and explain people what aghoris do in real life in a certain way. Aghoris are followers of Lord Shiva, so they are not exactly bad people but they strongly believe in supernatural powers.

Why do you prefer keeping a low profile?               

I had a long struggling period in my initial phase of career that is considered as a major disadvantage in today's time. However,  all the work that I have done so far has helped gain attention from the industry people and fans as well, so now I am hoping there will be support.

If not an actor, what would you have been? 

I am a workout freak. I am working out since I was 15 years old. I had won the trophy of Junior Mr. Gujrat Body Building in a competition. If not an actor, then I would have indulged myself into physical fitness entrepreneurship. I have always loved fitness.
