Morgan Freeman issues an apology
Hollywood’s veteran actor Morgan Freeman had been accused of inappropriate behaviour by several women who have worked with him and a journalist from a leading international publication.
According to reports, eight women said they were subjected to inappropriate behaviour by the actor. A woman, who worked as a senior member of the production staff of the movie Now You See Me, revealed that Morgan sexually harassed her and a female assistant. “He did comment on our bodies...We knew that if he was coming we should not wear anything inappropriate,” said the senior assistant.
Now, as a response, Morgan Freeman issued an apology through his PR team which read, “Anyone who knows me or has worked with me, knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy. I apologise.”
