The much-awaited period drama of Ashutosh Gowariker, Panipat, is all set to release in December this year and there is a lot of buzz about the same. We hear Arjun Kapoor will be playing the role of Sadashiv Rao and Kriti Sanon will be seen as Parvati Bai in Panipat. Talking about her role, in a recent interaction, Kriti shared that she absolutely had no clue about who Parvati Bai was because firstly there was no information about her and secondly, Kriti was never a good history student.

The actress said, “My knowledge of history is terrible. So for me, every word about the Battle of Panipat came from Ashu sir (Ashutosh Gowariker). Not too much is documented about Parvati Bai, so the character was built by Ashu sir in the way he visualised her.” We hear that Parvati Bai will be portrayed as a physician in the movie and her character falls in love with Sadashiv Rao. She even accompanies him to the war.
