‘My mother has sacrificed a lot for me’

Shilpa Shetty recently made an appearance as a special guest on reality show Dance Plus with her mother Sunanda Shetty. The actress shared that when she started working in films, her father had put condition that her mother would accompany her for all shoots for which Shilpa’s mother left her job.

Shilpa said, “People has seen my success and not my struggle and it was my mother who stood like a pillar of strength. Whenever I have felt low in life, my mother has encouraged me by saying that I am a born survivor.” Apparently, Sunanda Shetty faced complications while she was pregnant with Shilpa where doctors said she won’t survive. Adds Sunanda Shetty, “Shilpa is destiny’s child and she has put in tremendous efforts in whatever she has achieved today. ”
