Alia Bhatt is currently dating Deepika Padkone’s once upon a time serious beau Ranbir Kapoor. The two recently shared the couch on Karan Johar’s chat show and they both seemed chilled out. Alia said there was no awkwardness simply because they are all happy in their lives now. She said, “I don’t hold on to things. There’s nothing to feel awkward about...There is nothing to feel bad about and we are all very happy, at peace and content.” Deepika too said acceptance of one’s past, present and future has a big part to play in bringing in a feeling of comfort with each other.

Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma started dating each other after their first film together, Band Baaja Baaraat. However, their relationship did not last long and the two did not even seem to be in touch with each other. But, they did make a comeback in the reel life as they did Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do. Their comfort level in the film certainly proved that there is no awkwardness between the two now. In fact, at a recent award function they were seen greeting each other with a warm hug. 

Let bygones be bygones

Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea were a couple way back in the 90s, during their modelling days. Their movie Raaz was a big success and their chemistry made headlines. However, the two called it quits after a few years and moved on. But later on, they re-connected and are still friendly. Dino Morea even attended Bipasha and Karan Singh Grover’s wedding reception.

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor were in an alleged relationship. If reports are to be believed, they dated each other for five years before they parted ways. In 2012, Kareena tied the knot with Saif Ali Khan and Shahid too married Mira Rajput. After years of parting ways, they again came together in 2016 for Udta Punjab and Kareena happily greeted Shahid at film’s promotional event. Recently, Kareena even congratulated Shahid and Mira for becoming parents for the second time.

Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty were rumoured to be in a relationship and later on had a break-up. Shilpa is now happily married to Raj Kundra, while Akshay is married to Twinkle Khanna. In an earlier interaction Akshay had said that everything was past. They both have moved on in lives. In fact, Akshay had joined hands with Raj Kundra for a business venture. They launched home shopping market on television together.
