Lipstick Under My Burkha, one of the most controversial films’ trailer, was recently released at an event in Mumbai. The movie is is going to be a revolution in the Indian cinema. The film, starring Konkona Sen Sharma, Ratna Pathak, Aahana Kumra, Plabita Borthakur, Sushant Singh, Vikrant Massey and Shashank Arora, has been in the news for its loud and controversial content.

Speaking on the earlier ban on the film, Konkona, who will be seen in a prominent role in the movie said, “We don’t have rights the way men do. They are aggressive not only in India but around the world. It’s time for a woman to own their sexuality.”

Talking on the same lines, Ratna Pathak, said, “It would be premature to call it or label it with movement as labels are hard to live with. The film is extremely sensitive and I enjoyed the film.” The movie will hit theatres on July 25.
