Know how sometimes a song can get stuck in your head, serving somewhat like a motivational soundtrack to your day? Ain’t nobody, love me better. Or, maybe Don’t stop, believing in! It’s one of those things that we love about music. The Tribune Life+Style got in touch with the London-based duo, Nick Harrison and Toby Couling, of the band WOWH to ask the indie funk band about their brand new single and here’s what they wrote:

The song at its core is about trying to please others before yourself and we wanted to make it sound as vibrant/catchy and playful as possible to play on that idea! So proud it’s reached you all the way in India!

WOWH are the London based writing/production duo Nick Harrison and Toby Couling. Forming last year in a studio in Forest Hill they came together to explore a shared love of 60s songwriting / ‘NO FAT’ pop music, groove and synthesisers.

Both multi-instrumentalists and producers, in their own right, WOWH have been biding their time and honing their sound which is laced with layered harmonies, soul and effortless production. Recording in their own studio the pairteamed up with mix engineer MATT WIGGINS (Florence & The Machine/Adele/MIA) and are self-releasing a string of singles.

Hit list

Girl in Fashion, Pick up your Bag, and Suffer—even the title of their songs makes sense when stitched together. These boys do pack a mean punch!
