Darshan Kumaar, who is known for his role in movies such as Sarbjit, Mary Kom, NH10 and Baaghi 2, is set to play an antagonist in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s next, Toofan. Featuring Farhan Akhtar, the movie revolves around boxing. The cast of the film has been preparing for their respective roles for a long time and are now set to roll. A source shared, “Darshan plays the Maharashtrian boxer Dharmesh Patil in the movie. He has been training in boxing for two months. The film’s team had set up a technically-sound boxing facility at a factory, off the Western Express Highway in Mumbai. That’s where he and a few other actors would train with the coaches for seven-eight hours daily.” The source further shared that for preparations Darshan even watched Mike Tyson’s videos. This helped him understand a boxer’s mannerisms and his movements inside the ring.
