Pushpa Joshi, who made her Bollywood debut as Saurabh Shukla’s mother in the movie Raid, won everyone’s hearts. In fact, the charisma she oozed at her age in the role of Ammaji was so infectious that her scenes were applauded with as much gusto as those of Shukla’s and Ajay Devgn’s.
Reportedly, the veteran actress suffered a fracture after slipping and falling at her home last week, following which she was hospitalised in Mumbai and even underwent a successful operation. Fate had other ideas though as Pushpa Joshi breathed her last on Tuesday, November 26.
Her last screen appearance was in Ramprasadki Terahvi, which was screened earlier this year at MAMI.
