Rajasthan’s Suman Rao is Miss India 2019

Rajasthan’s Suman Rao became Miss India 2019 on Saturday night at a glamorous event that saw some of Bollywood’s stars.
The event was held at Sardar Vallabhai Patel Indoor stadium, Mumbai.
Femina Miss India 2019 is the 56th edition of the Miss India beauty pageant.
It was an emotional moment for Miss India 2018 Anukreethy Vas from Tamil Nadu, who crowned her successor Suman Rao.
The Miss United Continents 2019 title went to Shreya Shankar from Bihar and Shivani Jadhav from Chhattisgarh was crowned Miss Grand India 2019. She is also the first runner up.
Andhra Pradesh's Shreya Rao Kamavarapu, who was last year’s second runner-up, crowned Sanjana Vij from Telangana.
With Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal performing on Bollywood’s peppy dance numbers, the finale of the Miss India pageant 2019 was a star-studded affair.
The pageant was hosted by Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar along with Manish Paul and Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar.
B-town divas Huma Qureshi, Dia Mirza, Neha Dhupia and Chitrangada Singh were also present at the event.
