Saif’s Kaalakandi to release on Netflix?

It’s been quite a while that Saif Ali Khan’s movie Kaalakandi is waiting for a release. Reportedly, the makers aren’t finding financiers for the film’s theatrical release, so they are planning a digital release worldwide. Now we hear, the movie might just get released on Netflix.

Says a source, “Talks are on with Netflix. They feel that they will recover their money only if the film releases on the digital platform because there aren’t any takers in the market for it otherwise. Kaalakandi is an extremely niche film so the team is worried. Saif is having disagreement with the producers on the same. He wants the film to release in theatres, obviously.” Let’s hope the movie sees day light soon.
