Sasha joins Miracle Workers

Upcoming comedy series Miracle Workers has reportedly cast Sasha Compère in a regular role. The series is described as a Heaven-set workplace comedy based on the book What in God’s Name. The cast includes Daniel Radcliffe, playing the role of Craig, a low-level angel responsible for handling all of humanity’s prayers. Steve Buscemi will play Craig’s boss, God, who pretty much checked out to focus on his favorite hobbies.

Sasha Compère will play Laura, a sweet, intelligent, socially-awkward and lonely young woman who often finds herself being pushed around by her more confident and outgoing friends. Compère has appeared in a number of television projects in her career. She has guest starred on shows such as Rizzoli and Isles, Community, and the Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.
