Sci-Fi movie ‘2.0’starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar that has a budget of Rs 600 crore promises to be the biggest blockbuster of the year 2018.
A nationwide release of the film is scheduled for November 29.
Akshay is the antagonist and Amy Jackson the female lead of the film.
The movie is directed by Shankar and produced by Karan Johar.
AR Rahman has given music for the film.
The costliest Indian film is a sequel to ‘Enthiran’ which was released eight years ago.
Rajinikanth tweeted on Thursday saying, “Magnificent day has arrived,” ahead of the release of 2.0.
Even before the film hit the theatres, Rajinikanth’s fans started celebrating the release.
Fans all over the country have been praying for the screening of the film.
Rajini is known for having one of the most devoted sets of fans.
