Actor Shahid Kapoor and Mira welcome a new member into their family with the latter giving birth to a baby boy on Wednesday.

Mira was admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai.

Her mother and Shahid’s mother was also seen at the hospital with the couple.

The couple got hitched in 2015.

In a recent interview to Rajeev Masand, Shahid talked about his wife with a lot of love. “I got lucky. I married Mira,” Shahid said. “She’s as normal as it gets. We kind of hit it off and decided to get into an arranged marriage. By God’s grace it’s been wonderful, the last three years, and she’s been a huge part of that for me.”

Shahid and Mira are parents to their two year old daughter, Misha. .

The pair have been seen spending a lot of time together and have been seen on many dinner dates.

Shahid has been preparing for his upcoming film, Batti Gul Meter Chalu and has begun his preparations for the Hindi remake of Telugu hit, Arjun Reddy.

He can barely manage a week’s off for his second child. He will also be seen in a biopic on Asian gold medallist boxer Dingko Singh.
