Friendship means a great deal to actor Asmita Sood who played Shweta Rohit Puri in TV show Dil Hi Toh Hai. The actress recently got a special tattoo done in honour of the bond that she shares with her best friends. “Sunandini, Vasudha, Megha, Anshika, Rubina, Shweta, Amrisha — we are friends for 15 years now. We were in the same school in Shimla. We have been each other’s grounding point all these years,” says Asmita. Talking about the tattoo, she says, “It was my friend Sunandini’s idea to get one common tattoo which holds meaning for each one of us. Though a lot of back and forth happened for a few weeks, we decided on an anchor. The tattoo means strength and stability, someone who holds you in place and someone who provides you with the strength to hold your ground through the walk of life. We have been that for each other despite being in different cities, different colleges and different professions for the last 15 years.” She adds, “This is my fourth tattoo but for four of them, it was their first, which makes it all the more special.”
